The second official “Sounds Under the Stars” event for Lambda Cephei had imrayman, Nonsenze, and _GOJO for the lineup of DJs. Poster can be found ‘here’. The first DJ, imrayman, opened up with sounds that oozed nostalgia and comfort, managing to get a bit of a flabbergasted chuckle amongst listeners with an ambient remix of “Like a G6” by Far East Movement. Nonsenze played sounds energizing listeners with a consistent rhythm, fading in and out of melodies.

The Stage Flight world by Micca includes a wonderful feature allowing audience members to fly through the skies with the physical motions of flapping, with adjustable settings found at spawn. The expansive skybox in this world makes flying through it feel like a journey of freedom and adventure, but also serenity, as the calm coziness of all the platforms allowed for easy relaxation for some while others took to the skies.

For the event next month, we will possibly migrate over to a much smaller map for more intimate conversations and introspection. I have been constantly on the hunt to find worlds that have a relaxing night sky box, some sort of aurora or constellations, and lots of cushions to relax on while listening to the music. I will possibly release a list of the worlds that have these qualities and similar just for the fun of it. I really like finding worlds with nice skyboxes, and it is certainly a treat to hear friends mix sounds that fit the vibe.
